Job Role
The Business Technology Solutions Assistant is a highly collaborative technical consulting role responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and delivery of scalable business technology solutions for multinational clients and internal consulting teams. The position combines technical consulting, workflow development, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on implementation responsibilities within a fast-paced consulting environment.
Working closely with project managers, architects, consultants, and cross-functional global teams, the successful candidate will help translate business requirements into technical solution frameworks, support implementation execution, and contribute to operational excellence across enterprise technology projects. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client and internal teams to design and implement scalable technical solutions for complex business challenges.
- Translate business requirements into technical workflows, solution frameworks, and implementation strategies.
- Participate in technical implementation activities, workflow development, and solution delivery execution.
- Support technical architecture validation activities alongside technical architects and consulting teams.
- Coordinate project delivery tasks including planning, staffing support, risk mitigation, and timeline tracking.
- Contribute to the preparation of business cases, solution documentation, deployment plans, and operational strategies.
- Support cross-functional collaboration between consulting, technical, and operational teams across global environments.
- Assist in managing technical deliverables, implementation milestones, and project execution quality standards.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing and collaborative team development initiatives.
- Simplify complex technical concepts into clear business frameworks and presentation materials for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical disciplines.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in business technology consulting, technical implementation, technical delivery, or enterprise solution environments.
- Proven experience supporting small-to-medium-scale technical solution delivery and project coordination activities.
- Strong understanding of relational database management systems, SQL, data warehousing, and reporting environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, big data environments, data analytics, and enterprise data management concepts.
- Practical programming experience using Python or related technical development languages.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating within multicultural, bilingual, and cross-functional global team environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and project timelines simultaneously.
- Professional fluency in both Japanese and English is mandatory for bilingual communication, stakeholder coordination, and technical consulting discussions.
